Information we collect
When you request a custom trip, we collect the name, email address, destination, travel dates, travel style and trip details you choose to provide. We also keep a request reference and delivery status so we can respond and troubleshoot failed delivery.
When you accept analytics, Google Analytics receives limited usage information such as pages viewed and planner actions. We do not send your name, email address or trip-request text to Analytics. Basic technical information may also be processed for security, abuse prevention and service operation.
How we use information
- To generate and preserve itineraries on your device.
- To receive, review and reply to custom-trip requests.
- To understand which site features are useful when you consent to analytics.
- To prevent spam, rate-limit abusive submissions and maintain the service.
Cookies and local storage
The planner uses browser storage to remember saved itineraries and your analytics choice. Google Analytics loads only after you select “Accept analytics” and may then set its own measurement cookies. You can decline analytics without losing the planner’s main functions.
Services that process information
We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure to host and secure the website, Google Analytics for consent-based measurement, Resend to deliver trip-request emails, and Hostinger to receive email. These providers may process information in countries outside your own under their respective privacy and security arrangements.
Retention
Trip requests are generally kept for up to 12 months so we can reply, follow up and resolve delivery issues, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an ongoing exchange or legal obligation. Security rate-limit records are kept only as needed to control abuse. You can ask us to delete your request sooner.
Your choices and rights
You may decline or withdraw analytics consent, and you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information associated with your trip request. Depending on the law that applies to you, additional rights may include restricting or objecting to processing and lodging a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.
Children
Travelers Planner is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them.
